Republicans Start Clinging to Guns and Religion

This is too funny. From posts on Free Republic after Ohio was called for Obama (which is the point at which it became impossible for McCain to win, even if the networks all held off calling the election until the polls closed on the west coast at 11:00 — but somehow didn’t mind calling it before the polls closed at 1:00 am in Alaska, I guess they don’t count?)

This is what you should all do now:

Hug your wife and kids

Pray to God and understand he has a plan

Keep your guns close

Get a good accountant to shelter your money

It is true, that I never concieved such a day during my lifetime. But I still have faith in God, my family and friends.

No matter what happens, buy a firearm ASAP!!!

Get to it, do it, buy as many as you can. Cash out whatever you need, buy ammo, do it.

Check gun shows, private sales, events, yard sales, auctions. Do it now.

Find a gun repair shop if you need work, parts. Check out the shop. Do it now.

So, buying a gun (no, I don’t have one at the moment, yes I know I should have); I’m guessing that a private sale would be a far better idea now, given the almost certain government powergrab coming next spring and the subsequent pillaging of firearm purchase records. Anyone in north TX have a spare Remington 870?

Just imagine how those Obama voters are going to feel when they find out what the media has been hiding about Obama. Just imagine being a Christian and realizing you were lied to, Obama is really for abortion up to 9 months and thinks its ok to let a baby die who survives an abortion or signs gay marriage + into law. Or what if you helped vote for someone who persecutes Christians?
