The Best Movie of All Time

In case you didn’t notice, I just wanted to point out that, according to IMDB, The Dark Knight is now the best movie of all time, in first place on the IMDB top 250 list.

That was quick. It’s rating is a 9.7 out of 10. That’s unheard of on IMDB. What’s now listed as the second best movie of all time, The Godfather, has a rating of 9.2.

It’s a good month all around for best movies ever, since WALL-E is ranked as the 22nd best movie of all time with an 8.8 rating.

Now, I’m guessing that The Dark Knight’s rating will fall somewhat over time. But I thought that two days ago when it has a 9.2 rating, and I was wrong, it’s only gone up from there. So, for now, the users of IMDB consider it the best movie of all time.

It’s not often that the best movie in motion picture history opens for public viewing, so you may want to take advantage of this historic event and see it. If you can, it looks like everyone is already getting out to see it. It set an all-time opening day record of $66 million already, beating Spider-man 3’s old record. People are estimating it’ll make around $158 million this weekend, also setting a new weekend record (and once again beating Spider-man 3, which I think everyone agrees was a much worse picture than The Dark Knight.)

Not much content here, but I just wanted to make sure people knew that history was being made this weekend. The best movie of all time, people!
