A Day Without Internets

Normally I wouldn’t care too much about not having easy Internet access during the day while I’m at work. No big deal, right? I should be working anyway, right?

Unfortunately, at some point today is Radiohead’s presale via WASTE for tickets to part of their upcoming US tour. No internet access for Mr. Rake means no chance to hit WASTE at exactly the right time and magically wind up with Radiohead tickets.

So today, no internet access makes Mr. Rake sad.

And makes him speak in the third person, for some reason. I don’t understand that at all.

I stayed up a little late, checking to see if they were going on sale after midnight EST. No luck.

Now I should be getting ready for work, but instead I’m checking to see if they’re up yet (and I seem to be posting this.)

Maybe another quick check after showering and getting dressed and before heading out the door.

And then I just need to try to find me some Internet during the day, somehow. I don’t think it’s too likely.

Sure, I have a Blackberry. That web browser’s not going to be up to buying tickets online. I could probably torture myself by checking the site on it and seeing if they’re on sale yet, possibly. I don’t even know if it could handle that, though.

Sad day for me. On the plus side, it’s Valentine’s Day. So, you know, crowded restaurants and expensive flowers and all that. <3
