Songs Stuck In My Head #9

Hi! Songs! In my head! Stuck there forever!

Hello Saferide — My Best Friend. It may have been stuck in my head for a day or two after my most recent listen to the album, but I didn’t know what the name was. I just keep thinking of it as the “Damn, I Wish I Was a Lesbian” song. But that’s not it’s name, even if it might be a much awesomer name.

76 Trombones. Yes, the song from The Music Man. This is one of those weird inexplicable ones. It’s been well over 10 years since I’ve seen the movie (and probably at least 15). I don’t think I’ve heard it lately or anything. I just woke up one day and there it was, in my head. And it hung around for a few days. Who knows. I can’t explain my brain, either.

White Rabbits — The Plot. This one is much easier to explain. I’ve been listening to the album a fair amount and it’s a very catchy song. Therefore it got stuck in my head. Easy.

Tupac Shakur — California Love. This song got stuck in my head after watching the South Park homeless Dawn of the Dead episode a couple of weeks ago where Cartman used the song at the end to lure all the homeless zombies out to California. The song left my head within a few days, but today it seems to be back for some inexplicable reason. If only it was more explicable, live would be easier. I could write a program to do these posts instead of this tedious writing them all by hand business. Automatic blogging, that’s the way to make a fortune on the Internet. Not the spammy sploggy kind, but the kind that looks like this. I should get working on that.
