Anagram of DC Metro Map
I kept seeing all the other cool cities get their own anagrammed subway maps, and I kept waiting for those of us down here in the not-quite-as-cool DC area to get our own. I was even on the verge of making my own, sacrificing my time for the good of mankind and the fame and fortune of a link from BoingBoing.
Luckily, Gene Cowan stepped up to the plate and did a great job on an anagrammed DC Metro map. I want to print out bunches of these and leave them where tourists will find them.
Too bad “Amtrak Entrees” isn’t Union Station; that would have been the highlight of my day right there. I guess after getting the Ronald Reagan Airport station to be “Ghost Nonagenarian Drawl Irrational to Nap”, everything else is just gravy. And my daily stop, Metro Center, is very appropriate as “Retro Cement.”
BoingBoing’s latest anagrammed subway post (as of right now) has a nice collection of links to all the previous ones.
Side note: Kafka Ere is an anagram for Fake Rake. Aren’t you glad you know that know? I know I am.
