R.I.P. James Brown

Wow, how weird is that. Christmas Day, and James Brown dies. And James Brown had a song called “Christmas in Heaven.” And my cat is meowing at the door as if he knows that James Brown just died and he wants to pay tribute to The Godfather of Soul through his extremely soulful meowing.

It’s ok kitty, he’s being funky up in heaven or whatever form of afterlife he believed in. Or maybe being the hardest working man in show business means that he gets to relax now. Maybe see a show or two. Barry Manilow or something like that.
