Songs Stuck in My Head #8: TV Show Edition

Yes, today’s episode of Songs That Have Been Stuck in My Head is a special television show edition. Not that I planned it out that way because I’m an evil genius, that’s just the way my brain decided to play it. Blame my brain, not me.

First up is “Let’s Go to the Mall” by Robin Sparkles from How I Met Your Mother. The song and video are just brilliant, and the whole episode was hilarious what with all the slap betting and so on. The most insidious part is how catchy the song is. Sure, I’ve listened to it and watched the video over and over because it’s so funny, but I’m blaming it being stuck in my head solely on its catchiness, not my neverending repetitions.

And then next up is the current talk of the Internets, Dick in a Box from the SNL Digital Shorts people. What can you really say about a dick in a box, except that it’s a horribly catchy song that I’m sad to say has been stuck in my head for most of the day. Bad Justin Timberlake! Get out of my head!

So, well, that’s about it. Two way-too-catchy-for-their-own-good songs from TV shows that have been stuck in my head lately.
