Don’t Click Here, Do-It-Yourself JonBenet Ramsey Investigators

It’s a little scary to see how many JonBenet Ramsey searches people are doing. I posted about one hyper-JonBenet-obsessed individual a few days ago, and now I’m getting people visiting that page because they’re searching for similar things.

In case you haven’t noticed, there’s this John Mark Karr dude who’s all like, “Hey everyone, I killed JonBenet Ramsey!” And everyone else is like, “OMG LOL what are you eating on the plane?” I think that’s more evidence that anyone could ask for. There’s no need for you amateur Nancy Drews to be searching the Internet trying to solve the case on your own.

And there’s especially no need for you to be clicking on links to my site where I’m pointing out how obsessed these people are with their non-stop JonBenet searches. Are there really people out there right now watching TV and reading the newspapers and seeing this non-stop media frenzy over this tiny bit of news about a 10-year-old murder, and going “OMG LOL I need to know more about this!!!11″

Sorry about the OMG LOL’s. But since this all came out of me looking into the AOL search logs, it only seems appropriate, don’t you think? That’s how all AOL users type and speak, even in real life. It’s scientifically proven fact.
